How to Search the Community

Seek and you shall find - using Search in the Community

One of the top benefits of the Community is all the peer knowledge available for you to review and search over time.

  • To Search for content (discussion threads, shared files, white papers, virtual roundtables) use the Search box in the upper right hand corner of every page.
  • The screen shots below show you how to find and use the Search feature. To search for people, please use the Directory.

You can search on a single keyword, or a multi-word phrase, but be aware that the logic treats it as an either/or search.  For example, if you type in core conversion, it will return results for both core OR conversion.  To limit it to what you want, use "core conversion" instead.  Results will be pulled from any Discussion Community, Library, or Blog of which you are a member.

Results are sorted by Relevance not Date.  If you are searching for recent content, use the drop down menu above and to the right of your results to sort the list differently.

Use the Advanced Search. To limit Search results by type, date, or contributor you can use the Advanced Search - the small gray down arrow to the right of the Search box.
